Joined Impala Partners, LLC in 2003 and created Kilimanjaro Fund to invest opportunistically in bank debt. Responsibilities include developing and implementing Impala strategy, serving as an advisor to India Value Fund, and managing all operations of Kilimanjaro Fund, including but not limited to, origination and underwriting of investment opportunities, managing investor relationships, and serving as member of Investment Committee.
Sixteen year veteran of GE Capital prior to joining Impala
- Created GE Capital’s Bank Loan Group in 1996 and grew the portfolio to $4.6 billion before leaving in 2003
- Purchased Long Term Credit Bank’s entire $10 billion corporate loan portfolio in 1999
- Created GE Capital’s Distressed Debt Group in 2001
- Invested in excess of $800m
- Headed Asset Securitization Group from 1997 – 1998
- Held origination and risk management positions in New York, Stamford and Toronto
- Worked loans through the bankruptcy process in GE Capital’s LBO Workout Group from 1991-1993
- Invested in over 100 bankruptcies

Finished first in his class at Hillsdale College and Columbia Business School. Climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro in 1999.
